If you are reading this right now, then you probably have a favorite horror movie – maybe even one that changed the way you live your life.

I’m extremely excited to share that this Tuesday, May 22nd, Black Vortex Cinema will be releasing their first book entitled My Favorite Horror Movie.  It is a collection of 48 essays by horror creators on the film that shaped their lives.

I’m stoked to have contributed an essay in this book along with several colleagues that have helped LAHorror.com projects, including Christian Ackerman, Alex Napiwocki, Felissa Rose, Frank Merle and James Cullen Bressack.  This is a badass collection of horror movie memories from many faces of both independent and mainstream horror.

My Favorite Horror Movie is produced and edited by horror filmmaker Christian Ackerman, a true OG homie, so I know this book is going to be absolutely killer – I cannot wait to read it.  Ackerman is brilliant and no doubt this book will be a must read for all fans of horror films, especially for those of you who have had a horror film affect your life in a major way.
